French national, aged 45, Strategic Marketing Director
Dominique Velter holds a Master’s degree in economics from Paris-Dauphine University (Paris). She joined BATIF, the capital market banking arm of Thomson, when it was formed in 1986. In 1989, she was appointed Director of Financing at the Bernard HAYOT Group, specialists in wholesale and retail distribution. She obtained an MBA from ISAHEC in 1996, and joined VIEL & Cie to assist the Chairman on development projects. In 1999, she created the group’s online broker, Capitol.fr, and was its President until April 2001, when she was appointed Strategic Marketing Director of Compagnie Financière Tradition S.A.
